Sulli f(x) profile

Choi Sulli was born on March 29, 1994. Better known as just Sulli, is a Korean pop singer and actress. She debuted as a child actress in 2005 and then as a singer of girl dance group f(x) in 2009.

Sulli was selected to play young Princess Sun-hwa in the SBS television drama at the age 11, The Ballad of Seo-dong. A few months later, she made a cameo appearance in Love Needs a Miracle, another SBS television drama. In 2006, she made a small supporting appearance as the childhood crush of TVXQ's Micky in the theatrical drama Vacation. Sulli later landed a small role in Punch Lady and The Flower Girl is Here (2007) and also BABO (2008).

A teaser trailer of f(x) was released via YouTube on August 24, 2009. The group's debut digital single "Lachata" was released on September 1, followed by a 40-second teaser of the corresponding music video revealed on YouTube. The group debuted on September 2 in a showcase specifically designed to introduce the group, in which the event was held at the Samseong-dong Fashion Center. On September 5, the group had their first broadcast performance on MBC's music show Music Core.

On the 7 February 2010 she started as one of the hosts of SBS's Inkigayo with Tae-yeon and Wooyoung of 2PM and is currently a host withJung Yong Hwa of C.N.BLUE and Jokwon of 2AM

F(x) Girl Group Profile

F(x) is a new South Korean Girl Group from SM Entertainment that combine pop dance and some unique style. The members are made up of international members including Korean (Sulli, Luna, Krystal), Chinese (Amber) and Chinese-American (Victoria). Girls’ Generation (SNSD) Profile

Girls’ Generation is one of South Korea’s top female pop groups. The nine-members girls group are often referred to as SNSD by international fans, acronym for their Korean name So Nyeo Shi Dae (소녀시대, or So Nyuh Shi Dae)

The nine members are Yuri, Yoona, Tiffany, Taeyeon (leader), Sunny, Sooyoung, Seohyun, Jessica, and Hyoyeon.

The girls made their official debut in August 2007 with single Into the New World. Most of the members have been involved in some projects prior to their group debut though, e.g. in magazine ads, TV commercials and music videos etc.

SNSD released their first self-title album in November 2007 (re-released as Baby Baby in March 2008). The title track received mixed reviews, but its second track Kissing You became a hit on various music charts in early 2008. The albums sold over 100,000 copies by April, an impressive number in Korean music market.

SNSD were involved in various projects in 2008, including a reality show Factory Girl where the girls were working as interns for Elle (Korean) magazine. A few of them also worked on solo in other fields, e.g. radio jockies and TV hosts; with Yoona notably successful with her acting career.

The girls were back in early 2009 with mini-album Gee; the title song was a huge hit, topping various musical charts and breaking various consecutive #1 records. They released their 2nd mini-album, Tell Me Your Wish in June 2009, with a much talk-about marine girls theme. The album becomes a huge success as well.

The girls are also popular product ambassadors, appearing in various commercials, e.g. for Viliv, Nexon, Elite, Goobne, Binggrae, Cyon, Miero etc.
